DESCRIPTION:Irish World Academy Special Event: Launch of Harp Studies II: World Harp Traditions\nMonday 4th March\, 5pm\nIrish World Academy\, Theatre 2\nHelen Lawlor and Sandra Joyce\, co-editors\, are launching the 2nd\nvolume in the Harp Studies series\, World Harp Traditions\, on March\n4th\, 5pm\, Tower Theatre\, Irish World Academy building. The launch\nwill feature performances by a number of the contributors to both\nvolumes of Harp Studies\, including Helen and Sandra\, Paul Dooley\,\nCormac De Barra\, Niall Keegan\, the Cuisle Harp Ensemble directed\nby Fiana Ní Chonaill\, and a host of other performers. \nPublished by Four Courts Press\, Dublin\, this book situates harping\nactivity as a vital aspect of music making in traditions around the\nworld.
