DESCRIPTION:Iarla Ó Lionáird\, singer\nLouise\, Michelle\, and Mick Mulcahy\, uilleann pipes\, concertina\, harp\, flute\, accordion\nZoë Conway\, fiddle\nSeán McKeon\, uilleann pipes\nSíle Denvir\, harp and singer\nIarfhlaith Ó Domhnaill\, fiddle\nNatalie Ní Chasaide\, piano\, fiddle\, concertina\nCathal McConnell\, tin whistle\, flute\, singer\nDoireann Ní Ghlacáin\, fiddle\nLiam O’Brien\, concertina\nStephanie Keane\, sean nós dance\nCuas\, fiddle\, concertina\, accordion\, guitar \nDrawing from the Well connects Ireland’s leading contemporary traditional performers with the great collections to inspire new work. \nOn Sunday October 6th\, the Irish Traditional Music Archive in association with NCH will stage the sixth major concert in the series at the National Concert Hall. \nThe line-up features many of the country’s leading traditional musicians\, singers and dancers\, including singer Iarla Ó Lionáird\, The Mulcahy Family (Uilleann Pipes\, Flute\, Harp\, Concertina\, Accordion)\, Zoë Conway\, Seán McKeon (uilleann pipes)\, Liam O’Brien (concertina)\, Síle Denvir (harpist and singer)\, sean nós dancer\, Stephanie Keane\, Iarfhlaith Ó Domhnaill (fiddle) & Natalie Ní Chasaide (piano\, fiddle\, concertina)\, West Kerry band Cuas\, Cathal McConnell (flute\, tin whistle and singer)\, and Doireann Ní Ghlacáin (fiddle). \nSpeaking about the forthcoming event\, ITMA Director Liam O’Connor said: “The great collections of Irish music song and dance housed in ITMA serve as a continuing inspiration to our contemporary artists\, fueling new creative endeavours.
