CÉHI welcomes Shauna Louise Caffrey as Programme Coordinator

Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland is delighted to announce the appointment of Shauna Louise Caffrey as Programme Co-Ordinator. This position is funded by The Heritage Council through their Heritage Organisation Support Fund, for which Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland is immensely grateful. 

Shauna is a musicologist and cultural historian with an interest in harp music, magic and the intersections of oral and literate traditions. Currently completing her PhD research on witchcraft in early opera at Maynooth University, she has presented at conferences internationally, and published in journals and edited volumes. She has been the recipient of the SMI Alison Dunlop Graduate Prize and Trinity College Dublin Mahaffy Memorial Prize. 

An experimental musician, Shauna  is a founding member of the group Analog On, with whom she has performed and recorded internationally. She is looking forward to bringing her arts development skills to CÉHI’s programming in the coming months.
