Jan Muyllaert was born in Antwerp, Belgium in 1947. He qualified as a draughtsman and worked in industry. He moved to Ireland in 1972, started making guitars and became a full time instrument-maker. Jan has been making harps since 1973 and they are played by artists world wide. Each harp is individually made to the client’s specifications and budget.
