Harp Ireland/Cruit Éireann is a collective of harp players established in 2016 in collaboration with The Arts Council, An Chomhairle Ealaíon.  We are passionate in our support for the continuing evolution of the harp and our ambitions for its future.

National Harp Day/Lá na Cruite was established in 2017 and exceeded expectations, drawing support and media attention from right across the country and beyond.  On 20th October, National Harp Day/Lá na Cruite 2018 aims to build on last year’s success by:

  • highlighting excellence
  • promoting creativity and artistry
  • bringing this diverse and enriching celebration of achievement to new and existing audiences.

We encourage the participation of harp ensembles and individuals from a broad range of harp genres and musical styles.

In furthering its aims, Harp Ireland/Cruit Éireann complies with the Governance Code for the community, voluntary and charitable sector in Ireland.

We provide promotional support, printed materials and press support material.

We have third party public liability insurance for our events.  For further information, and to check that your event is covered, please contact us.

Our logos, type styles and branding are the property of Harp Ireland/Cruit Éireann and may not be used or reproduced without prior consent.

Please ensure that the support of Harp Ireland/Cruit Éireann, and our main funder An Chomhairle Ealaíon, is acknowledged at any event you organise and that logos of both organisations are displayed on any additional promotional material.

Thank you for your support and good luck with your event.
