Music for Wexford present Liam Bates’s World Premiere EARTHRISE

Musici Ireland return to Music for Wexford for the World Premiere performance EARTHRISE, a new concerto for viola (Beth McNinch)and chamber ensemble by Kilmore composer Liam Bates. Famed for his Christmas musical Noel, a collaboration with Eoin Colfer, and Heroes of the Helen Blake, this promises to be a thrilling new work.

Formed in 2012, Musici Ireland have performed hundreds of concerts across Ireland and have been broadcast around the world.

We are a women led chamber ensemble who value deep audience connection and aim to create evocative wholesome performances in both traditional and explorative concert experiences. Our development as an ensemble has seen substantial growth over the past number of years. A significant jump in both numbers and creative output was seen during the World’s Global Pandemic, highlighting our determination, resilience and passion for what we do as an ensemble.
