Harpers amongst the RTÉ Radio One Folk Awards Nominations

Nominations for the sixth annual RTÉ Radio One Folk Awards were announced yesterday, and celebrate the very best in folk music in Ireland over the past year. Amongst the nominations are five harpers:

Joleen McLaughlin and The Henry Girls with Ríoghnach Connolly – Best Original Folk Track

Síle Denvir – Best Traditional Folk Track, Best Folk Singer

Séamus & Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta – Best Traditional Folk Track, Best Emerging Artist

Bláth na hÓige – Best Traditional Folk Track, Best Folk Group and Best Folk Album

Michelle Mulcahy – Best Folk Instrumentalist

Aoife Ní Bhriain & Catrin Finch – Best Folk Album
