John is a well-respected professional with nearly 40 years’ expertise in running as well as advising businesses in private and public sectors. He is a high-impact contributor with extensive experience in a range of disciplines including Finance, Risk Management, Strategy, Asset Management, Boardroom management and Business transformation, among others.

A Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Institute of Bankers, John draws from his 35 years corporate experience in a range of Board, Executive, and Non-Executive positions. These include Ulster Bank (NatWest) as Executive Director, Deutsche Bank as Non-Executive Director and Ogier Law Practice as Non-Executive Director and Board Risk Committee Member.

An out-of-the-box thinker with proven ability to devise wide-ranging solutions for resolving complex business issues including stakeholder disputes, risk management framework issues, financial restructuring etc. John looks at an organisation’s growth plans and assesses the extent to which there is capacity to take an increased level of managed risk.
