Moya Brennan – An Irish Christmas 2023

Moya Brennan, the voice of Clannad, brings An Irish Christmas to Monkstown for a 14th year. As always, the young traditional musicians of Craobh Phiarais Uí Ghrégáin will be performing and showcasing their exceptional talents.

Moya Brennan brings the unique atmosphere of her music with a specially produced seasonal show of celebration and reflection. Her band features the superb musicianship of harpist Cormac De Barra, fiddle player Clare Friel, Guitar/Bouzouki of Aisling Jarvis and Keyboards/percussion of Paul Jarvis.

Moya will draw not only on a rich selection of traditional Irish and European Christmas songs and carols but also her enticing repertoire of well-known solo and Clannad songs. She will be joined by her talented band in a show that will warm the heart and carry the spirit and message of the season to her audience.

Moya’s Christmas new release, Nollaig Gaelach, is a refreshed update of her Celtic-inspired recordings of classic and contemporary songs and carols, such as Silent Night, In the Bleak Midwinter, In Dulci Jubilo and Joy to the World.
