Summer Harping: Be in with a chance to attend Tuamgraney Harp Festival

Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland, in partnership with Tuamgraney Harp Festival, is pleased to announce two scholarships for harpers living on the island of Ireland to attend the Tuamgraney Harp Festival between 5th and 7th of April 2024.

Over the course of the weekend, harpers will be exposed to the finest harp music and teaching from Máire Ní Chathasaigh, Fiana Ní Chonaill and Seána Davey. With workshops, concerts and competitions, this weekend makes for an immersive learning experience where harpers can learn from master musicians and develop their own creative practice.

To apply, please submit a letter clearly marked ‘Tuamgraney Harp Festival Scholarship’ to info@tuamgraneyharpfestival.ie explaining why you should be considered and include a 2-minute harp recording in .MOV or .MP4 format by 5.30pm, Sunday 4th of March 2024. The awards will be announced Friday 16th of March 2024.

Submissions will be assessed by an independent panel of judges and their decision is final.
