Adult learners of traditional music with at least two years playing experience who are eager to further develop their playing skills and confidence in the session environment.

This brand-new festival concept will fuse a virtual learning with an in-person festival, creating a unique experience for traditional Irish music learners.

Participants will use TuneClub, our interactive app, to prepare. The app features 10 core sets and 3 songs, recorded by our team of highly skilled and renowned traditional music tutors. This preparation ensures that participants arrive ready to focus on enhancing their musical style, ornamentation, phrasing and listening skills, rather than note/tune learning.

The highlight of the festival will be the evening sessions taking place in bars around the town of Bray. Participants will get to play the core sets, and reap the fruits of their labor in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. Renowned musician and music educator Liz Doherty will also be offering her expert advice throughout the weekend.

This is more than a festival – it's a chance to immerse yourself in traditional Irish music, build confidence, and make lifelong connections within the music community both near and far.
